Last week we posted that we would be open and seeing clients as usual. THIS CONTINUES TO BE TRUE; however, in addition to the precautions we are already taking, we will be implementing the protocol below, in order to help maintain the safety of our environment for our clients and our staff.

We have removed as many porous items as possible within our waiting area and therapy rooms. We have also limited the number of objects that would normally be considered “high touch” such as markers, pens/pencils, dry erase boards, and specific toys.

Upon your arrival, we will ask you to utilize the hand sanitizer in the waiting area. If you do not want to use the sanitizer, we will request that you utilize our restroom to wash your hands before your session.

If you plan on keeping your scheduled sessions but begin experiencing flu/cold-like symptoms (fever, chills, cough, sore throat, etc) and/or shortness of breath prior, please call us to reschedule and do not venture out. If you show for your session and present with the above symptoms, your appointment will be rescheduled upon your arrival.

We will continue stay within the margins of time required by your insurance company, but sessions my end a little sooner than usual so that we can do some additional disinfecting between clients.

We recognize that we see some individuals with compromised immune systems due to underlying and/or chronic health conditions, so please feel free to contact your therapist to express any specific concerns you have.

As most of you are already aware, we are a private practice receiving only the foot traffic and presence of those who are already scheduled to be here. Like most, we will be monitoring the situation and announcements made by our local and federal government. If anything changes, we will alert you.

Please know that we recognize and acknowledge the worry this situation is creating. We would almost expect heightened symptoms of anxiety to be present. If possible, allow yourself some grace, compassion, and permission to accept whatever it is you are feeling. Self-care is crucial during moments such as this. We’re all in this together and we will be here to support you.

Wishing you the very best health and happiness,
Watson Center for Wellness
