Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. This includes related costs for psychotherapy services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your service/appointment. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service/appointment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Rates at Watson Center for Wellness are based around 45 and 60 minute sessions; however there may be circumstances when shorter sessions are more appropriate. Insurance

First and foremost, you will need to ask yourself the following questions:

1. Do I have mental health benefits included within my plan?

2. Does my plan carve out the mental health benefits to a third party?

3. Is there a yearly deductible and has it been met?

In-Network
Watson Center for Wellness is in-network with a variety of insurance carriers. These include Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Aetna, Cigna, Health Link, Health Alliance, Methodist 1st Choice/Health Plus, United Healthcare, and more. If we are in-network with your carrier, we will verify eligibility and benefits as well as submit your claims as a courtesy. It is important to consider that some carriers and plans carve out certain benefits to another company, and while we may be in-network with your carrier, we may NOT be in-network with the plan that covers your mental health benefits.

Out-of-Network
If we are not in-network with your carrier or plan, you may have out-of-network benefits you can use. It will be your responsibility to verify those benefits. We will then provide you with a Superbill that you will submit to your insurance carrier. Any reimbursement will be sent directly to you. If we are not in-network with your carrier and plan, out-of-network benefits can be used while we work towards in-network status.

Payment
Co-pays/co-insurance, deductible payments, and any other fee will be collected at the time of service. Watson Center for Wellness accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

Cancellation Policy
An advance notice of 24 hours is required for cancellation of an appointment. If the specified notice is not given, you will be charged a late cancel/no show fee.
